These terms explain the deal between you and Ghostli when you use our service. By signing up, you agree to them. We have kept them plain.

What Ghostli does

Ghostli is a tool for South African guesthouses and lodges. It helps you track assets and maintenance, get quotes from contractors, and share arrival info with guests. Ghostli works alongside your booking system. It does not replace it.

Your account

You need an account to use Ghostli. Keep your email secure, because anyone who can read your email can request a sign in link. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Using it properly

Please use Ghostli honestly and legally. Do not try to break it, misuse it, or use it to harm others. Keep the information you add accurate.

Guest and contractor information

When you add guest or contractor details, you confirm that you are allowed to share them. You are responsible for getting any consent you need. Contractors you invite are independent businesses. Ghostli connects you, but the work and the price are between you and them.

Money

Ghostli is free during early access. If we start charging in future, we will tell you first and give you the choice to continue or stop. We do not handle payments between you and contractors.

Other services

Ghostli may connect to outside services like your booking calendar and WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Availability

We work hard to keep Ghostli running, but we cannot promise it will never go down. Things outside our control, like load shedding or a provider outage, can affect the service.

Our responsibility

We provide Ghostli as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the service, such as a missed reminder or a contractor who does poor work. Ghostli is a helpful tool, not a guarantee.

Ending your account

You can stop using Ghostli at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we will let you know. The date above shows the latest version.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
